You can play receiver.The offseason showcase at receiver of Bishop Amat High School football standout Trevon Sidney continued last weekend when Sidney was chosen wide receiver MVP of the Rivals Camp Series at Fullerton College.“I’ve just been working on it more, trying to show people I’m a receiver,” Sidney said. “It’s just a good opportunity to show what I can do and I performed my best.”Last weekend’s MVP award, combined with one he got at the Passing Downs Tournament in March, is a culmination of an offseason campaign to open eyes to what Sidney can do with the ball in his hands and also show he’s not just a defensive back.
