San Gabriel Valley, Pasadena and Whittier All-Star softball players enjoy a fun day at the park Posted on June 8, 2015 by Fred Robledo TRIBUNE DOMINATES ALL-STAR GAME: The inaugural San Gabriel Valley Senior Challenge all-star softball game Sunday wasn’t close but it was a huge success with the players, coaches and a packed grandstand at the University of La Verne enjoying the final appearances of players in their high school uniforms. The game was won by the San Gabriel Valley Tribune team, 14-3, over a combined team of players from the Pasadena Star-News and Whittier Daily News area.
