The “New” Covina District Field makes its debut on Friday Posted on September 3, 2015 by Fred Robledo STORY: One of the oldest high school football stadiums in the San Gabriel Valley, Covina District Field, has been given a face lift. In fact, it’s a complete new facility, which makes its debut this week.It has been the home field to Covina, Northview and South Hills high schools for years and will now be known as the Covina-Valley District Sports Complex. It is polished and ready for the players and fans to take the field after 11 months of construction.
