Northview makes it look easy: Antwaun Ayers had six catches for 102 yards and a touchdown, and also had a 76-yard punt return for a touchdown, to lead the Northview High football team to a 35-0 nonleague victory over Walnut on Thursday night at Covina District Field.
Northview (3-1) scored four touchdowns on four drives in the span of 10:07 to take a 28-0 lead at halftime. Walnut (1-3) never threatened.“
(Ayers) has been a great addition to our program,” Northview head coach Marcel Perez said. “He’s a leader and a great player and he helps the team. Hopefully we can continue to get a lot of production from him.”
