Glendora and Matt Fink get revenge on South Hills, 28-7 Posted on October 8, 2015 by Fred Robledo STORY: The Glendora High School football team got a handful of big plays from the offense, while the defense carried a shutout into the final minute of the game for a 28-7 victory over South Hills in both teams’ Palomares League opener Thursday night at Covina District Field. The average duration of Glendora’s four touchdown drives was just two plays because of several big plays from an offense that was controlled for most of the rest of the game by the Husky defense. “It’s a good victory for us,” Glendora head coach Jerry Lewallen said. “I thought our kids played hard today and we executed relatively well.”
