Chino 17, West Covina 7 — Freshman Violet Salazar was the winning pitcher and Emily Ballesteros got the save for the Cowboys (9-7, 2-1) in a Hacienda League victory. Chino combined for 20 hits. Corina Gamboa went 5 for 5 with three homers, a double and six RBIs, Haley Wishner went 4 for 4 with three doubles and an RBI, Alyssa Gonzalez went 2 for 5 with a home run and an RBI, Pearl Barroso and Justine Briones both had a home run and two RBIs and Emily Ballesteros went 2 for 4 with a triple and two RBIs.
Nogales 5, San Dimas 4 — Peui Tafasi was the winning pitcher and Savanah Bonillas got the save, Mia Escobar went 3 for 4 and Alexis Morales had a three-run homer for the Nobles (9-7, 2-1) in a Valle Vista League game.
