TRIBUNE SUPER 32 RANKINGS
1. Charter Oak (4-0) — Charter Oak look the part of No. 1 in dominating previously undefeated Damien, but also may have lost QB Bret Clemetson for the season with an injury.
2. Bishop Amat (3-1) – Lancers granted a 2-0 forfeit win over St. Paul, giving it two weeks to prepare for Friday’s game against Loyola.
3. Los Altos (4-0) – Has handled everyone, and looked mighty impressive past two weeks with wins over Corona and Glendora.
4. San Dimas (3-0) – Hasn’t beaten anyone that wows you, but also has blown everyone out. Diamond Bar should add to blowout victims on Friday.
5. Northview (3-1) – Gutty come-from-behind last minute victory over solid Don Lugo squad.
6. Damien (3-1) – Much improved, but not ready for prime time. Charter Oak, without its QB in second half, still handled the Spartans.
7. Diamond Ranch (3-1) – Has beaten South Hills, Ayala and Burroughs with only loss to Chino Hills. That’s impressive.
8. South El Monte (4-0) – Junior running back Sal Tolvar already over a 1,000 yards in just four games, averaging 255 a game with 14 TDs. Nice.
9. Nogales (4-0) – Struggled to put away winless Walnut not the greatest sign, but undefeated regardless.
10. Duarte – (3-0) – Falcons beat a Windard team that is 3-1 and then blew away Montclair and Mountain View on the road.
