El Monte 3, South El Monte 0 — Cam Nievez had nine kills and Lorena Lopez had five aces for the Lions (10-4, 2-0) in a 25-12, 25-20, 25-9 Mission Valley League match.
Walnut 3, Chino 0 — Cameron Wood had four kills and Alexsis Rodriguez had 12 digs and two aces for the Cowgirls (6-2, 0-1) in a 25-13, 25-15, 25-19 Hacienda League loss. Julia Trujillo had nine digs for Chino.

Girls tennis
Garey 13, Pomona 5 — Tien Nguyen swept in singles and the team of Jasmine Hernandez and Evelyn Casas swept in doubles for the Vikings (9-1, 5-0) in a Miramonte League match.

Girls golf
Bishop Amat 236, St. Paul 299 — The Lancers (4-0, 2-0) had the top five finishers at Whittier Narrows Golf Course to defeat the Swordsmen (1-4, 1-2) for the Camino Real League win. Diana Gelgado led the way with a 2-over-par 37, Veronica Trujillo shot 47, Audrey Parayno shot 49, Alyssa Ruiz shot 51 and Maya Payan shot 52.

Glendora 1. Westlake 0 — Lauren Zigan scored the winning goal and goalie Meagan Olson had five saves for the Tartans (4-2-1, 1-0) in a Palomares League win Tuesday.
Harvard Westlake 1, Bonita 0 — The Wolverines defeated the Bearcats (3-2-2, 0-1) in overtime Tuesday.
