Gladstone 8, Rosemead 2 — Diana Roman scored three goals and Shenia Garcia scored twice and had two assists for the Gladiators (1-0) in a nonleague victory. Ivette Ayala scored a goal and had two assists, Marisela Piceno scored and Daniela Mendez had two assists for Gladstone.
Garey 1, Azusa 0 — Veronica Alvarez scored with an assist from Iliana Gallegos for the Vikings (1-1) in a nonleague match.
Diamond Bar 4, Wilson 0 — Lila Aragon scored twice and Giselle Valdez and Samantha Blazek both scored a goal for the Brahmas in a nonleague win. Valerie Swisher had three assists for Diamond Bar.

Girls water polo

Bonita 9, Charter Oak 7 — Taylor Alley scored four goals and Rheannon Urias scored twice for the Bearcats in a nonleague game. Katie Fugit had five goals and eight steals, Emma Tuck had four steals and goalie Samantha Wilson had six saves for Charter Oak (1-1).

Glendora 70, Whittier Christian 38 — Kayla Sera and Michelle Can both had 14 points and Alex Lowden had 12 points for the Tartans (3-0) in a La Habra tournament victory. Glendora will play in the championship game against Burroughs tonight at 7:30 p.m.
Burroughs 64, Wilson 29 — Parvene Barimani had nine points, four rebounds and two steals and Calley Wu and Miya Yi both had six points for the Wildcats in a nonleague loss.
Duarte 54, El Monte 30 — Patricia Morris had 30 points, 12 rebounds and four blocks and Delaney Thompson 11 points for the Falcons (1-0) in a nonleague contest Wednesday.

Boys basketball
Rowland 51, Ridgecrest Burroughs 49 — Curtis Hong had 31 points for the Raiders (3-1) in a San Dimas Gary Prestesater tournament win.
San Dimas 64, Bell Gardens 23 — Donnell Leffridge had 12 points, five assists and four rebounds and Ronny Rafeh and Elijah Jackson each had 10 points for the Saints (2-0) in the Gary Prestesater tournament on Wednesday.
