Boys basketball
Blair 72, Wilson 64 — Dezmond Washington had 24 points and Jordan Hall had 14 points for the Vikings in a nonleague game. Ethan Sims had 37 points, 10 rebounds and three assists for Wilson.
Monrovia 52, Keppel 39 — Jayden Scott had 16 points and 15 rebounds and Rory Hare had 11 points, six assists and seven rebounds for the Wildcats in a quarterfinal game of the Sierra Vista Tournament. Adam Wood Jr. had 12 points and eight rebounds for Monrovia. Nick Fang had 15 points and Michael Granados 12 points for Keppel (2-1).
Girls basketball
Glendora 59, Ridgecrest Burroughs 53 — Alex Lowden had 19 poins and Michelle Can and McKayla Tilton both had 12 points for the Tartans (4-0), who won the La Habra Tournament. Lowden earned MVP.
Rowland 65, Murrieta Valley 39 — Tianna Eaton had 20 points, nine rebounds, five steals and four blocks and Rachel Capinia and Nichole Woo both had 11 points for the Raiders (4-0) in a Bonita Tournament contest. Also contributing to Rowland’s victory were Faith Castillo, who had 10 points, and Kaylin Ngo, who had nine points and four assists. Rowland will play in the championship game against Los Osos today.
Diamond Ranch 75, Hoover 26 — Ebony Cooper had 35 points for the Panthers in a Rosemead Holiday Classic win.
Bishop Connaly Loretto 27, Baldwin Park 12 — Lupe Gomez had seven points for the Braves in a Rosemead Holiday Classic loss.
San Dimas 42, Wilson 38 — Kendra Ukita had 11 points, seven steals and four rebounds and Parvene Barimani had seven points and nine rebounds for the Wildcats in a nonleague game.
Rosemead 55, San Bernardino 15 — Kristal Espinoza and Ruby Espinoza both had 12 points for the Panthers in a Rosemead Holiday Classic victory.
