Host San Dimas and South Hills fall in boys basketball tourney semifinals

San Dimas and South Hills fall in semis: Upland broke open a close game in the third quarter then made free throws down the stretch to hold off San Dimas in a 71-63 semifinal win in the Gary Prestesater boys basketball tournament at San Dimas on Friday night.
In the other semifinal, Kelvin Wright led Rancho Cucamonga with 15 points and Toby Okwuokei added 11 as the Cougars beat South Hills 52-42.The Highlanders will play Rancho Cucamonga for the championship on Saturday at 7:30 p.m, while San Dimas will take on South Hills at 6 p.m. in the third-place game.
