Boys basketball
Rowland 73, Rosemead 49 — Phillip Aguiniga scored 21 points and had eight rebounds, Jarbas Faria added 20 points and eight rebounds and Dameon Thomas had 15 points for the Raiders (7-3) in a Fairmont Prep Tournament victory. Curtis Hong and Aguiniga earned all-tournament honors.
Pebble Hills 46, Diamond Ranch 42 — Michael Miller Jr. had 16 points and 13 rebounds for the Panthers (2-7) in their final game at the McDonald’s Classic. Anthony Enriquez earned all-tournament honors.
St. Paul 54, Wilson 39 — Ethan Sims had 20 points for the Wildcats in a nonleague loss.
Charter Oak 72, Mountain View 69 — Will West scored 24 points and Jermaine Braddock added 23 points for the Chargers (2-0) in a nonleague game Friday. Jayden Ailbey had 20 points and Emilio Alvarez scored 15 points for the Vikings (4-3).
Wilson 72, Paramount 66 — Ethan Sims had 35 points, 11 rebounds and four blocks and Winston Kong added 15 points for the Wildcats in a nonleague win Friday. Also for Wilson, William Tai had 11 points and eight assists and Jeffrey Von added 10 points.
South Hills 82, West Covina 80 — Jason Rodriguez had 33 points and seven assists, Justin Acosta added 14 points and Dalton Clevenger scored 12 points for the Huskies (3-4) in a nonleague win Friday. Nick Hart had 41 points for the Bulldogs (4-2).

Girls basketball
Glendora 59, Sunny Hills 31 — McKayla Tilton had 17 points and Alexis Lowden and Kyra Zovak each scored 10 points for the Tartans, who placed third at the Orange Tournament. Sarah Zweerink earned all-tournament honors.
Webb 51, Montclair 41 — Jordan McClure scored 23 points and Chloe Steward added 16 points for the Gauls, who placed third at the Vivian Webb and Rick Whyte Invitational.
Garey 35, St. Matthias Academy 31 — Freshman Jamaya Mickens scored 12 points for the Vikings in a Webb Tournament win.

Girls soccer
Charter Oak 6, Avalon 0 — Lori Torres scored twice and had an assist and Diana Borbon, Savannah Varney and Amy Encinias each scored for the Chargers (4-0-1) in a nonleague victory. Also for Charter Oak, Amanda Hill had an unassisted goal and Samantha Vallejo had an assist.
