Glendora, ranked No. 3 in the area and No. 1 in CIF-Southern Section Division 3AA, came from behind in the first half, then shut down area No. 4 Diamond Bar’s high-powered offense and pulled away in the second half for a 63-45 win. Trailing 21-14 in the second quarter, the Tartans (16-2, 1-0) battled back behind Kyra Zovak to tie the score at 28-28 at the half. Zovak scored six quick points and plugged up the middle to help the Tartans get back in the game.
