Tribune Football Signees make choices: Brian Casteel never wavered when it came to his college of choice.
The Charter Oak High School football standout gave an early verbal commit to Arizona, never opened his recruitment back up to other schools and finally made things official on Wednesday by signing on the dotted line for the Wildcats.
“I really couldn’t believe that this day was here because this really is what I’ve been working for all my life,” Casteel said. “I just want to thank Arizona for believing in me and giving me this opportunity to continue doing what I love at their school.”

Big Day for Soccer Signees and others: While high school athletes across the country have sweated out the past few weeks waiting for offers in hopes of making their college choice on National Signing Day, some like Bishop Amat girls soccer player Sophia Serafin have been waiting years to make their intentions official.
That day finally came Wednesday.
Serafin, along with teammates Isabelle Juarez and Danielle Herrera, finally got to sign paperwork during ceremonies at Bishop Amat.
