Tribune Top Ten Baseball Rankings
1. South Hills (5-0) – Solidified top spot after winning 32-team Frozen Ropes Classic. Opens Palomares at Bonita.
2. Charter Oak (4-1) – Biggest surprise beating Bonita and advancing to Frozen Ropes final.
3. Glendora (7-2) – Opened with six straight wins, dropped 2 of last three.
4. Bonita (4-1) – Already with three shutouts despite tough 7-1 loss to Charter Oak.
5. Walnut (4-1) — Pitching has been great, allowed two runs or less in four wins.
6. Bishop Amat (4-3) — After slow start has won three of last four.
7. Damien (2-3) – Terrible start, but has played tough schedule.
8. Wilson (4-0) – Hasn’t played anyone tough, but still has outscored opponents 42-1.
9. Nogales (6-1) – Won first six before finally dropping a game.
10. Sierra Vista (4-2) – Improved non-league schedule, good 10-5 win over improved Muir.
