So your Top 20 Football Rankings aren’t based on who is the better team, but who has the better record? I mean Amat lost a close game to Serra a much better team and an expected blow out loss to arguably the best team in the country Mater Dei. Amat is still the best team in the SGV. Also I wonder if will Hags still go for 2 next time if he’s a similar situation??? I thought it was a good move — always go for the win, but Centennial a few years back now Serra?? glad I’m not a coach…

Also it just goes to show how bad “valley” football is relative to the other areas of the southern section. Where we all know that Amat would beat anyone on the list below them, but it is not like they have played great by any means which opens up the poll for some of these teams. hopefully they can take care of a down rancho team, and then get the other 4 that they should be in the game with and then theese other team arguments should die down. But if not, it opens up the door. And if the south hills, st pauls and la sernas on this poll keep winning impressively it is fun for all of us, because it keeps these “valley” polls alive!

I can’t imagine BA getting beat by any one on this list, but polls are for fun!

    • AMAT73

I can recall back a few years where a poll like this would have sparked a 100 plus comments , boy have times changed , seems like there are only a handful of old time bloggers left .

Yep, even in the digital age there will be fads and disappearing trends!

Right! Where is everyone? It’s crickets out here!
