DAVID KRONKE

david-kronke.jpgDavid Kronke was appointed Mayor of Television after a bloodless coup in 2000. Since then, he has improved infrastructure, championed greater educational opportunities and fought for reforms that have utterly erased corruption and incompetence from the television industry. Since Mr. Kronke has ascended to power, Television is a far better place.

It's not right! Mom!

I was working on something like this, but, dammit, these guys beat me to it:

"WASHINGTON (AP) — Screaming and crying, Irve 'Scooter' Libby was escorted out of a courtroom and back to jail Friday after a judge ruled that he must serve out his entire 30-month sentence behind bars rather than in his home.

“'It’s not right!' shouted the weeping Libby, who was convicted of four felonies in a reckless spy-outing case. 'Mom!' he called out to Dick Cheney in the audience."

Also, since I’ve been dragged back into the whole Paris mess, if you haven’t seen this clip yet, you’ll want to. It’s short, and it’s exquisite.

Watching the media frenzy and the attendant attention everyone’s been paying to this and such overwrought reactions has really made me question this whole notion of humans “evolving.” On the other hand, I’m sure creationists must feel the same way, respecting God too much to believe that anyone involved in this whole thing – from Paris to the reporters to her fans – was created in His image.

Last April when we all watched Virginia Tech students (ages 18-26) endure the loss of friends and teachers. It gave many of us hope for the future to see so many of those young people be heroes and work through the true loss.
Now today we must watch a temper tantrum of a poor little (26 year old) rich girl. It's embarrassing. Her parents should be ashamed to see her behavior. The parents of Britney, Lindsey and Nichole should also hang their heads.
America has young men and women dieing in Iraq. Some are coming home without limbs or sight.
When will the American people see the Hilton thing for what it is? Too much time money and energy is spent on a young woman who is clearly spoiled and has NO idea of what truly happens in a world where many people die of aids, starvation and greed.
It is truly sad.

Even the Bush twins think Paris is acting spoiled.

Even the local news here in Miami dedicated one third of its programming half-hour to this mess. Damn you, California, and your ridiculous celebutrash!
