DAVID KRONKE

david-kronke.jpgDavid Kronke was appointed Mayor of Television after a bloodless coup in 2000. Since then, he has improved infrastructure, championed greater educational opportunities and fought for reforms that have utterly erased corruption and incompetence from the television industry. Since Mr. Kronke has ascended to power, Television is a far better place.

"Four Months Ago," "Heroes" was really popular

“Heroes” creator Tim Kring admitted to Entertainment Weekly that his show has been mired in an awful lot of narrative wheel-spinning this season, elaborating on five different sins the show participated in (too slow, bad introduction of new characters, Hiro in 17th-century Japan was a dumb idea after all, etc., etc.) and he promises to make it all better.

Maybe that’ll start next week. Even the title of tonight’s episode – “Four Months Ago” – indicates that it, too, is all set-up and little follow-through. It explains, sort of, what really happened in last year’s season finale (a little late for that, don’t you think?) and dabbles in a little light S&M between Elle (Kristin Bell) and Peter (Milo Ventimiglia). Otherwise, it’s pretty skippable, but then, a lot of people seem to have decided that on their own in recent weeks. Can Kring bring them back before it goes away for the writers strike?

- "Heroes:" 9 tonight, NBC (Channel 4).
