David Kronke was appointed Mayor of Television after a bloodless coup in 2000. Since then, he has improved infrastructure, championed greater educational opportunities and fought for reforms that have utterly erased corruption and incompetence from the television industry. Meanwhile, here’s a little snapshot of how some writers are trying to avoid going slowly mad. One, a young writer hired by “Saturday Night Live” just a couple of months before the strike began, notes, "I have slightly more picketing experience than actual writing experience."
