Practice intensity

UCLA is treating this bowl practice session like it is training camp. The Bruins are doing a lot of hitting, and working rapidly. A few of the players I spoke with said it was the toughest bowl practice sessions they've had, and the guys I was talking to were upperclassmen. There is real motivation from the coaching staff to build off the USC win, and not fall flat against Florida State. I've been covering UCLA since coach Karl Dorrell's first season, and I can tell how much a win in this game means to him.

Good to hear the team is working so hard. Got my tickects today for the bowl game. Hopefully the fans show up and support the team!

Brian, thanks for your hard work! They need to win this game and finish recruiting strong. Beating $c was very nice but you have to finish the season stong and beat a weaker FSU team.

I like what I am reading. The Bruins have a new identity as an athletic, fast, and physical football team. Lots of hitting in practice is going to reinforce this change in attitude.

I think the game is going to be a sell out, and Bruin fans outnumbers FSU by at least 5-1
