AP poll
My ballot for this week's AP poll. Let me just say, though, that when it gets down to about No. 18 or No. 19, it's a crapshoot. Each week these teams are losing once or twice, and now I'm understanding why for years the AP did a top 20.

Dont understand your Wisconsin vote at number 1. Weren't they beaten by an unranked team? Almost division 2 level? I could be wrong.

When did USC ever deserve "it's due" in b-ball? I have to admit that they are much improved this year. I think that they will definitly be invited to the NIT tourney and possibly do well in it.

Wisconsin lost to a very good Missouri State team early in the season. A Missouri State team that I ranked a few weeks ago.
And to Lawyer John, I'm not a Bruin, I cover the Bruins. BIG, BIG difference.

Brian,
I wasn't going to say anything about your poll until you explained your reasoning, so now I'm just a little confused. We lost to a very good team by 2 points in one of the hardest places to play in the country. You currently have them ranked 7th. I dont get how an early (unranked then, and now) Missouri State loss is better than a mid season loss to a hot team on the road, especially since we went on to beat your current #22 and #23.

I think Wisconsin should be rewarded for winning 15 straight games. This is not an anti-UCLA thing.
