Love in action
Bruins signee Kevin Love and his Lake Oswego (Ore.) High teammates play at Mater Dei of Santa Ana tonight at 8:30. The game is on Fox Sports Prime. As a sidelight, Don MacLean, who is doing television color for UCLA's game with Oregon State, will also provide color for the Lake Oswego-Mater Dei game.

Love looked like a man playing among boys. But, at least to my untrained eye, he looks like he needs to develop more quickness and strength to be a pro. He can only benefit from Howland's weight training program. Also, I can see why Howland is so heavily recruiting the Wear twins from Mater Dei -- what great potential for those 6'10" kids.

Brian, do you know if Kevin Love plans on playing in the summer league games at West LA College ? I assume Chace will be there, but it would be great to get a preview of both member's of UCLA incoming 2007 class.
