More Dye
I spoke with Anthony Dye a little while ago and asked him why he chose UCLA, and why do it so early in the process. Here's what the CB from Corona Santiago High had to say:
"I wanted to get the recruiting process over,'' he said. "I have one more year of high school football, and there's no better fit for me than UCLA right now with the current situation. it doesn't get much better, so why keep them waiting?
"What really got me was I went over there on a visit, and the typical stereotype on kids that get scholarships are they are jerks because they are the best players and can be cocky, but I went there and they were all extremely nice people. We met a couple of players who were on their way to their workouts, and they were just good, legit people. I like that about the program.''

looks like a typical ruin' stiff. but hey, at least its an upgrade from the oompa loompa midgets you guys used to recruit Rick Manning, Ticker Ebell, etc.
hopefully this guy doesn't end up jumping an innocent bystander at a Dennys parking lot...

Troll, your comments speak volumes about about yourself. Why do you lay into this guy? Does 13-9 hurt so much that you need to call a h.s. junior you don't even know a "stiff." Your an open wound.

That's good, a trojan talking smack about "off the field" issues. How many women have been brutally raped or smacked around by memebers of your football team? Boys will be boys right?

Welcome Dye. Good luck, sounds like you will be a good fit and the type of player and human being UCLA is looking for. It's always good to hear this type of report and reinforce what is already known about the program that Dorrell runs. It's nice to see that there are still many respectable young kids out there and they are going to UCLA.

The "oompa loompa midgets" certainly kicked your arse didn't they?

SCUm fans crack me up. They say "You're a Bruin for 4 years but a Trojan for Life" but crack on a former player like Tyler Ebell who spent 2 years at Westwood.
By that logic, UCLA can claim two victories over SCUm last year since former UCLA QB Mike Moore led OSU in a win over you maroon and mustard clowns.
