Guerrero chair of new committee
UCLA athletic director Dan Guerrero was named the chair of the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Academic Enhancement Group.
The charge for the committee is to find a way to improve the graduation rates of student athletes who play basketball. Guerrero was a member of a similar committee that reviewed the academic successes and failures in college baseball.
