Head scratcher

When I was on campus one day I happened across Bruins power forward Luc Richard Mbah a Moute. I asked him how close he came to leaving for the NBA, and his response was "real close.'' I'll be honest, that surprised me. I thought it was a no-brainer he and Darren Collison were coming back. If Mbah a Moute was so close to leaving after his sophomore season, I could see him leaving after his junior season.

It looks like he is gone after this year, which would explain why Howland is recruiting for 5 scholarships for 08 and 5 to 6 in 09.

Mr. Dohn, do you think Luc would have been a first round pick this year? I don't think so, and I don't think it would have been "close"

Rich,

I agree with you. The one thing that should never be overlooked, though, is the NBA drafts underclassmen on potential. If Luc can consistently make a 14-16 footer, his stock would increase immensely.

Is Luc on track to finish up his degree at the end of next year? If I remember correctly, that was the case and if so, he'll surely be gone then next year.
