In need of motivation?
If you have an extra $15,000 grand laying around and you and some friends need a talkin' too, we've found the answer. UCLA men's hoop coach Ben Howland will give a little kick to your game, according to the website for The Star Group.
The rejuvenation of UCLA's basketball program with consecutive trips to the Final Four, both resulting in losses to Florida, has made Howland a craved group speaker. He's not as high on the list as Steve Young when it comes to the speaking fee, but he is also much more reasonable.
Heck, for $15,000 he will entertain your group, and likely teach you how to play defense against the most offensive people in your company. Oh, if you're outside of L.A., you'll also have to fork over the funds for a first-class flight to get Howland to your location.
Scroll down on this link\ a little bit to see Howland's availability.

So all Lute Olson needs to do is fork over 15k and plane fare for Howland to teach his team to play D? I would say that was a pretty good deal. Let's say it was 15k for 3 hours. For 150k that would be 30 hours worth. Throw in a hotel suite etc for Ben and the Mrs.
Probably could have gotten Majerus to do the same especially sicne Rick enjoys a nice hotel.

Something tells me that chairmen and CEOs don't fall over each other to pay Isiah Thomas $27k so he can teach them his ways of success.
