Pac 10 medals

The Pacific-10 announced the medal winners (based on the greatest combination of performance and achievement in scholarship) for the 2006-07 season. Each school has a male and female athlete awarded, and for UCLA it was football player Andrew Baumgartner and track and field's Jackie Nguyen.

Baumgartner was a walk-on. He was on scholarship for one year because UCLA had an extra one, and rather than have it sit unused, he received one for a year.
