If you missed it ...
Here are a few other quick notes that were in today's paper.
Senior free safety Dennis Keyes is unable to participate in team drills this week because of an injured left wrist, but the injury should not prevent him from being ready when training camp begins Aug. 6.
Keyes had his left wrist bandaged after falling on it during a 7-on-7 passing drill against a junior college team last week.
Also, tight end Ryan Moya continues to recuperate from the broken leg he suffered last season at Oregon. He missed spring practice with an ankle injury and it is uncertain whether he will be able to take part of full practices when camp opens, sources said.
And former defensive lineman Kenneth Lombard has shed more than 30 pounds as he makes the move to fullback, sources said. Lombard, who now weighs 230 pounds, made 36 tackles the last two seasons, but wanted to change positions, sources added.
I am at Pac-10 media day today, so I will have more stuff later.

That is a very strange move for Lombard. He was one of our most experienced DL and certainly would have made the two deep, right? Brian, why would he want to change positions all of a sudden?

I think our talent level has gone up so much on the D-line that Lombard feels this is a way he can get more playing time.
