Pac-10 bits
Here are a couple of quick hitters from media day:
1) If Eric Scott is not re-instated by the start of training camp, Karl Dorrell will be the acting receivers coach. If Scott is fired, Dorrell could move quickly and hire a replacement.
2) Athletic director Dan Guerrero remains a staunch supporter when it comes to the integrity of the program.
3) Tight end Ryan Moya could red-shirt because he continues to have trouble with his left ankle, the result of the broken leg he suffered last season at Oregon.
4) The son of former UCLA assistant coach Jon Embree, Taylor, was expected to walk-on next month. However, word now is he will come to UCLA as a gray shirt in January, and be on scholarship.

Why would we give Embree a scholarship? Especially when we have limited left in the 08 class.
