Markey on Ramirez
Bruins tailback Chris Markey said he was impressed with Christian Ramirez's first practice on offense.
"He's a good back, a good player all-around,'' Markey said. "That's why the moved him back to that position. He can help us. He had a great day, and I think once he starts getting more reps and more comfortable with the offense, he'll do a good job for us.
"It was surprising. I forgot how good he was. He would just see a hole and hit it, and he runs hard as hell. It took a lot of people to take him down.''
Ramirez came into UCLA last August as a running back, but was quickly moved to safety and remained in the secondary until today.
