Monday's practice

A few notes from the morning practice:
Backup center Micah Reed left the field on a cart, with an ankle or knee injury, but the preliminary belief from UCLA is it wasn't a serious injury. I should know more after the night practice.
FB Michael Pitre (knee) and LG Shannon Tevaga (wrist) both had MRIs, and I should know the results tonight.
As for the practice itself, SS Chris Horton returned and participated in 11 on 11s and Chase Moline played DT with the first team while Kevin Brown (thigh) watched from the sideline.
WR Osaar Rasshan showed he wasn't afraid to go over the middle and made a nice leaping catch in traffic, but he also dropped another pass as his transition from QB continues. Overall, the offense was sloppy, with a dropped snap on one play and RB Chris Markey running into QB Ben Olson on the next. The defense definitely made up for being beaten by the offense Sunday.

Brian is the field condition even partially to blame for all the knee injuries?
