More receivers

I wrote a note in today's paper about how the receiver rotation will be different from last year. As many of you know, former receivers coach D.J. McCarthy used something of a hockey-line substitution pattern, and the receivers complained how difficult it was to get into a rhythm during a game.
Receivers coach Eric Scott said it will be a more conventional rotation this season, and here's something he had to say that did not make the newspaper.
“It’s a big difference from last year,’’ Scott said. “They have to play this year. Guys have to get into a rhythm. You can’t throw the ball to each guy every time, but they have to get into a rhythm of catching the ball, of throwing blocks down field for runners. If you’re constantly pulling them out, then nobody can ever catch a rhythm and get into the flow of a game.’’
As far as the rotation, I see Marcus Everett and Brandon Breazell getting the most plays, with Joe Cowan being the third receiver in such packages. I think Terrence Austin will also play a lot, as will Gavin Ketchum. Dominique Johnson and Osaar Rasshan will fight for playing time in the early part of the season.

brian, do you expect McCarthy to inflict his 'rotate guys every play' on NC-contender LSU? It has never been explained why Babers did the same thing the previous year. does this mean the WRs won't be bringing in the plays like the last 3 years?
