Mornin' folks

Yes, it's a dreaded morning practice, and the lads are all out getting ready to stretch. Here's a couple of tidbits to start your day:
LB Shawn Oatis is apparently fine after a scare with a knee injury yesterday. He is dressed and ready to go.
Also dressed in full pads and ready to practice is CB Rodney Van and DT Chase Moline.
TE Travis Martin, a walk-on who could provide depth given Ryan Moya's injury, is on crutches with his foot in a walking boot.
And still no DT Brian Price, who continues to wait for the NCAA Clearinghouse.

Good news on Oatis. When are the coaches expected to meet with Eric Scott? Will that be immediately after practice?

Brian,

How is it Pete Carroll can whine about a couple of his players getting a 14 day grace period from the NCAA clearinghouse to begin practice but Karl Dorrell can't?

Nice name Bruin Brian.

I've read how you claim UCLA has higher academic standards than Cal for football players, but how do you explain that all of Cal's recruits have cleared the NCAA clearinghouse but Brian Price couldn't. Are UCLA's standards lower than Crenshaw's? Price didn't do sufficient coursework to graduate from there despite four years of fulltime enrollment...

Clearinghouse and academic standards have nothing to do with each other. Clearinghouse issues mean all the paperwork isn't filed, or the case hasn't been reviewed sufficiently, or there is a question with the transcripts. If you don't believe me that the standards are different, oh well.
