Post-practice quickies

Bruins coach Karl Dorrell said backup QB Patrick Cowan's hamstring is not doing well. He will have an MRI today and could miss significant time.
Not only was Fred Holmes moved from linebacker to fullback, but safety Christian Ramirez was switched from safety to running back.
"I think we're still going to evaluate whether that is permanent or not,'' Dorrell said.
WR Joe Cowan was held out of practice because of soreness, which is the same reason DE Bruce Davis was held out of drills, Dorrell said.

Brian, have the Bruins suffered an abnormal amount of injuries this training camp? I realize there are some bumps & bruises to be expected, but this is as bad as I've seen it in a while. Of all guys banged up right now, who can the Bruins ill-afford to lose for any extended period of time?

Thank God about Ramirez going to tailback i've been waiting for him or Ware to make the switch. Since Ware has put in more time at S and is higher on the depth chart than Ramirez it makes sense to me.
