Van smack
UCLA senior CB Rodney Van loves the competition sophomore Alterraun Verner provides daily.
“Verner is always going to be there. Verner is a competitor,’’ Van said. “I always feel pushed with Verner. He gives me that challenge to let me know you can’t rest. It’s ‘I’m here. I want to play, too.’ That’s what I love about him. We have that mutual respect where if one of us can’t get it done, the other one is there to step in.’’

Hey, how about changing the picture at the top of the UCLA web page. We get it, they lost. But that's all you have from a great season?

While we're on the subject of the daily news webpage. Why are some articles posted twice, with different headlines. Sometimes, one of the links is an incomplete version of another link (like clipped). This has been the case since last year.
