Working hard
UCLA receiver Marcus Everett is spending extra time after every practice working on his game. Following Wednesday's session, Everett was at the far end of Spaulding Field catching passes from the ball machine. It wasn't until 40 minutes after practice ended that Everett finally walked off.

Marcus is our best receiver. I can't recall his drops, but certainly remember his clutch receptions. Definitely has a future in the NFL.

I don't know if he's NFL material or not. I'm a plain lousy judge of that stuff. But I do agree that Milk is nails when the ball is headed toward him, and if the ball is at all catchable, he'll catch it.
I feel very comfortable with Marcus Everett on our receiver corps.

Some of the Best Hands in the Pac 10. If he has a breakout year he could play himself into a late round pick

Joe Cowan and Milk will break-out this year. As long as Ben Olson stays healthy the WR unit will show a big jump in production.

IIRC, "Milk" dropped a couple of easy passes early in the season last year...
