PROFILE

This is Brian Dohn's fifth season covering UCLA after spending 4 1/2 years covering the Dodgers for the Daily News and other Los Angeles Newspaper Group papers. He graduated from Rutgers, where the first college football game was played in 1869. Sure, the Scarlet Knights suffered for a long time, but now RU is doing what Jerseyans always thought was possible. Winning at Rutgers also proves winning is possible everywhere else in the nation, so underachieving coaches better be careful. Now, if only men's hoops can turn it around.

guess who im not voting for?

Wait, I get it. It's like an Extreme Makeover show, only for coaches, right?

Karl Dorrell and coach of the year in the same sentence?

I'm assuming this special segment was scheduled way before the BYU and Utah games.

What a joke.

talk about bad scheduling ... I suppose they could always hope for a car chase or something to preempt that segment.

I don't understand. It says, "The specials feature some of today's most respected college coaches." Other than USC fans who are outspoken in their praise, who in the world respects Dorrell?

I can't see Herbstreit keeping a straight face while doing this interview.

Is this some kind of joke?
