ESPN to Televise Pac-10 Regular-Season College Basketball for First Time Since 1995

College GameDay to Originate From UCLA Feb. 2; ESPN on ABC to Continue to Offer Coverage of Pac-10 Games

For the first time since 1995, ESPN’s college basketball coverage will include regular-season Pac-10 Conference home games. As part of a new multi-year agreement with Fox Sports Net, ESPN’s 2007 schedule will feature two regular-season Pac-10 home games. ESPN on ABC will continue to offer a minimum of three Pac-10 conference games annually, with this year’s schedule featuring four telecasts.

Coverage will begin with Arizona at UCLA in a Saturday Primetime Presented by DirecTV telecast February 2, 2008 at 9 p.m. ET. ESPN’s College GameDay Driven by State Farm, ESPN’s weekly college basketball road show originating from the site of the Saturday Primetime telecast, will also originate from the game. College GameDay features two one-hour shows each Saturday (11 a.m. and 8 p.m.).

The 2007-08 season on ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPN Classic, ESPN360.com, ESPN Regional Television and ESPN FULL COURT will feature more than 1,050 men’s basketball games, most ever on the ESPN networks and the most extensive coverage by any media outlet.
