PROFILE

This is Brian Dohn's fifth season covering UCLA after spending 4 1/2 years covering the Dodgers for the Daily News and other Los Angeles Newspaper Group papers. He graduated from Rutgers, where the first college football game was played in 1869. Sure, the Scarlet Knights suffered for a long time, but now RU is doing what Jerseyans always thought was possible. Winning at Rutgers also proves winning is possible everywhere else in the nation, so underachieving coaches better be careful. Now, if only men's hoops can turn it around.

No Green for Trey

UCLA CB Trey Brown has a well-earned reputation for being a trash-talker during games, and he was asked for some of his "greatest hits" during a Monday press conference.
"I would love to, but I think the NCAA would have a little problem with me giving you my greatest hits,'' Brown said. "We'd have to sell them. We'd have to go on ebay and send them out. I know they've got Youtube out, my space. They've got all kinds of things out these days. We'd have to set that up on the side sometime."
Brown also said that this week, he was throwing away everything he had that was green, including his money. You read more about his comments in Tuesday's paper.

Brian can you report how rahim moore's trip to georgia went? is he still solid?

Rahim is going to USC.

Gee, and I didn't think the University of South Carolina was on Rahim's list. Keep on hoping, Trojie.

Moore's trip to Georgia was fine. He had an enjoyable time, but he remains solid with UCLA.

Good to hear. Thanks for the update.

Brian whats going on with Hester? Do you think he will stick also?
