Tough sledding
High winds and snow drifts closed the road from Spokane to Pullman, which meant media members, including the television and radio broadcasters, had to take alternate routes, which meant a 2 1/2 drive by going through Idaho.
The weather also continues to play havoc with UCLA's charter plans. Rather than fly out of Pullman after the game, UCLA has to travel 40 miles to Lewiston, Idaho, after the game tonight to fly over to Seattle.
