All-American Savage

| | Comments (0) |

UCLA offensive guard Darius Savage isn't too bad dabbling in this shot put stuff. He attained all-America status today by finishing sixth in the NCAA Indoor Championships in Fayetteville, Ark., with a personal-record throw of 61 feet, 1/4 inch. That came after he established a PR on his first throw of 60-10 3/4.
Also, Bruins teammate John Caulfield earned all-America honors with a throw of 62-2 1/2, which was good enough for a fourth place finish.
