UCLA coach Ben Howland said, indeed, center Lorenzo Mata-Real will start against California in place of Kevin Love because of senior day.
Howland also said walk-on Matt Lee was placed on scholarship a few weeks ago.
As for whether or not UCLA clinched a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament, Howland said, "I hope so. It would help to continue to win.''
