No love for USC

The public address announcer just told the Pond crowd in Anaheim that Kansas State beat USC 80-67 in Omaha. Obviously there are a lot of UCLA fans here because there was a lot of hooting and hollering.

I had picked USC to go deep into the tournament based upon their competitiveness against UCLA. They let the PAC 10 down (just as Arizona did) but not winning their first round game. We'll see if Oregon can salvage some of the claim we have been making all year about how tough our league is.
