UCLA is the top seed in the West, and third overall, and will play No. 16 seed Mississippi Valley State, on Thursday in Anaheim. Tip time is yet to be decided.
Mississippi Valley is where NFL Hall of Famer Jerry Rice played football.
MVS finished 17-15, including 12 in the Southwestern Athletic Conference, and defeated Jackson State 59-58 in the title game. MVS also lost to Washington State 71-26 this season.
