WVU or Xavier?

Priority one is: "... doing our best to become the best that we're capable of becoming."

But personally, I'd rather face WVU than Xavier. We're 1-3 all-time against them, making them one of few schools to boast a winning record against us. They are also one of 2 teams to have won on our floor in the last 2 years (Texas). They put RW to shame last year. We haven't beaten them since we had Big Lew.

And I think I remember reading that they still hang Confederate Flags out there!!! BOOOOOOOOO!!!

What I'm hoping for is redemption. Not just for losses we might've had (ideally, we beat Texas in the Semis), but more so for the wins we've "achieved" in the last couple of weeks. We need to win convincingly. We need to play well enough to erase the asterisks we've accumulated. Win or lose...

GOOOOOO BRUINS!

6Year,
I see your point about redemption, but a lot of the things you pointed out make me not want to face WV. I think we played enough tough teams this year...I'll take the easiest road the final four we can get :)
Anyway, lets win tonight! I hope a lot of UCLA fans turn up at the game. GO BRUINS!

I think after seeing X paste the 'Eers like they are, the % for WVU should be rising soon...

In '95, while we didn't go undefeated, we beat everyone we played against (Oregon and Cal*). It was a great feeling. There's not much more a team can do than to beat everyone they're asked to play against.

And we have that chance again this year, if we can get to the Semis and face Texas (*gasp* in San Antonio!). Beating WVU in the round of 8 and smack-talking Kansas in the Finals would be Nectar for my Wet Dream Bracket.

First things first...
GOOOOOOO BRUINS!
