UCLA coach Ben Howland said Arron Afflalo, who plays for the Detroit Pistons, is returning to campus in the summer to take classes and continue working toward his degree.
Afflalo is also finally getting some playing time with the Pistons and getting some respectable numbers in the box score lately. I've always wondered if there is a tradition for the players garnering million dollar contracts to fund a scholarship at the university where they apprenticed before going off to the pros. If there isn't, why not?

Agua-I know many players do; for example there is a Troy Aikman endowed scholarship. I think you can find a full list on the official site but I'm not certain, its quite a long list.

That's awesome. I'm sure he will receive a warm welcome on campus.
