He looks to be a fine player. Good luck to him in South Bend. But at this point, I'd rather have some stud OL and DL commits.

Is that any different than the commitments that Bowen, Mascarenas, Golpher and Pollard have made to UCLA?
I was under the impression that until signing day, every commitment any player makes is a "non-binding oral commitment."
C'mon now, you don't have to sugar-coat things for people who read this blog. Woods is out, end of story.
Either way, it's a damn shame to see local players leave the state. Neuheisel needs to get his mojo working.
