Kansas 33, Memphis 28 halftime
Chris Douglas-Roberts scored three consecutive baskets for Memphis. His last one of the first half was at 4:54, which tied the score at 28, and the Tigers didn't score after the rest of the half. Kansas ended the first half on a 5-0 run and has a 33-28 lead. Derrick Rose has been held to three points (on 1 of 4 shots), which is a huge victory for Kansas, and CDR has 13 points. For Kansas, Darrell Arthur has 10 points. The most glaring statistic is this: Memphis has been outrebounded 19-11. Those who said this game might be decided by the frontcourt might be right.
