Kansas' Rodrick Stewart injured

| | Comments (2) |

Kansas practice ended early when former USC player Roderick Stewart, now a senior at Kansas, went up for a crowd-pleasing dunk, only to injure his right knee. Stewart came down awkwardly and was wheeled off on a golf cart. He hadn't played much - if at all - over the last six games. Stewart is averaging 2.9 points in 11 minutes.
Stewart was taken from the court with his leg in a boot and the school believes he tore ligaments in his knee. He is not expected to play against North Carolina.
