Luc stays

I was told Luc Richard Mbah a Moute was allowed to stay in San Antonio and be with his parents while UCLA flew back to Los Angeles today.
Mbah a Moute's parents flew in from Cameroon and saw him play in person for the first time. I talked to him after the loss and while he was bummed about that, he was genuinely excited about being able to play in front of them.
He had 12 points and 13 rebounds in UCLA's loss to Memphis. From what I understand, his parents may accompany him to Los Angeles so they can spend more time together.

My hat is off to BH for letting Luc have some time with his parents once they were finally able to get over here.

About Inside UCLA

This is Brian Dohn's sixth season covering UCLA after spending 4 1/2 years covering the Dodgers for the Daily News and other Los Angeles Newspaper Group papers. He graduated from Rutgers, where the first college football game was played in 1869. Sure, the Scarlet Knights suffered for a long time, but now RU is doing what Jerseyans always thought was possible. Winning at Rutgers also proves winning is possible everywhere else in the nation, so underachieving coaches better be careful. Now, if only men's hoops can turn it around.
